At Meline's Lodge we realize how important a healthy fishery is for everyone. We spend a lot of time chasing trophies so we understand what it takes to grow them.

We do as much as possible to promote conservation ethics and we prefer our guests to keep Walleyes 18" and under and Lake Trout 4 lbs and under for eating.

Our guides are all experienced in proper fish handling techniques. Each guide has rubber mesh nets, musky cradles and other modern equipment to prevent any injury to the fish.

We also like to practice selective harvest, which means keeping injured fish which will die anyway, for shorelunch.
